HSL Certification Service conducted an ISO9001:2015 “Quality and Safety Management System – Requirements”, ISO22000:2018 “Food Safety Management System – Requirements for All Types of Organisations in the Food Chain”, and FAMI-QS (6.0) “European Feed Additives and Premixed Feed Operation Examination and Damage Control System”, under Phase I and II audits of the three systems for TaraBio.
During few days, the auditor conducted a very serious audit mainly through on-site inspections, data viewing and communication.
Finally, the audit team gave a high evaluation to the three systems established by the company and the operation results, and recommended the company to obtain the “three systems certification registration qualification, which has been marking the company passed the three systems audits at one time.
2 Sept
The audit team conducted the 1st phase of the audit to assess whether the company had established an operational management system in accordance with the agreed standards and whether it was ready for the second phase of the audit.
The first phase of the main on-site environment, HACCP team, production audit department, management, quality department audit, the audit process found a number of problems, the department which has problem work overtime to rectify in a timely manner, rectification to meet the requirements of the second phase of the audit can be carried out only after the audit.
4-6 Sept
A 2nd phase of the audit was carried out, which built on the 1st phase by auditing all the departments involved in the system.
we are all familiar with IS09001, and ISO22000/FAMI-QS is based on ISO9001 and with more attention on food safety, hazard control plan and hazard analysis, prerequisite programmes, crisis management, recall system, fraud prevention and anti-adulteration management, feed epidemic prevention system management, etc., the company has just been in contact with the work, not yet done in-depth and detailed.
After the audit, some shortcomings were found.
The company will make up for the shortcomings in time, increase the training and learning of the three systems, and do a good job in all the basic work, so as to protect the product quality and food safety.
The three certificates are the “knocking brick” and “passport” for the company’s products to enter the international and domestic markets, and their significance is extraordinary. The company attaches great importance to them and will take this as an opportunity to regulate the relevant management according to the relevant requirements of the certification to ensure the quality of the products and the safety of production. ISO22000 food safety management system standard defines the requirements of the food safety management system, applicable to all organisations in the food chain from “farm to fork”; FAMI-QS “European Code of Practice for Feed Additives and Pre-mixed Feed Operators” is the standard for feed additives and pre-mixed feed operators entering the EU and the world by the relevant authorities in the EU to comply with EU feed-related regulations. It is a mandatory certification for feed additives and premixed feedstuffs entering the European Union (EU) and the rest of the world to comply with the EU feed regulations, and it is a passport for companies to enter the EU for feed additives and premixed feedstuffs.
